Traveling Abroad and Minor Travel Consent Form

Summer is that time of the year where we often travel more. Kiddos are out of school and everyone wants to escape the day to day of regular life. Maybe your teen has been invited to travel to Cancun with her best friends family. Maybe you are no longer married to your littles mother or father and you have big plans to take them on a special trip abroad. Maybe your husband has to hang back while you take your son on his senior trip. Whatever the case may be, you will need to be accompanied by a Minor Travel Consent form signed by both parents. If that is not possible, please ensure you further research your options.

Notarized proof of parental consent is crucial in preventing abducted children. Without notarized proof of parental consent, TSA may stop a child from reaching their destination.  In recent years, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has been paying close attention due to abductions and as well as looking out for runaway children (who are a 302x larger population than abductees..)

Don’t let this detail derail your plans! I am available to notarize this form for you, even at the last minute.
